I am running
Running away
Breathless as I am pursued by an unknown predator
Ready to devour my life
Steal my joy
Turn me into a zombie
Then I get understanding
Stopping………………….long enough
To face my pursuer
To my surprise
He loves me
Enough to pursue me to the very ends of the earth
Instead of stealing my joy, He brings me life to the full till it overflows
Instead of a zombie state, I discover, I was already the walking dead, now I am ALIVE

Can your life have meaning?

Can your life have meaning? Significance or meaning is subjective. It is really defined in subjective terms. You define your own significance, and for most of us that definition comes from external experiences rather than internal processes.

If you are in a dead end 'job' that too is a personal experience. One man's 'job' is another's mans career. An artist would despise a cubicle, while a left brained individual finds security in that environment. The artists would be happier being creative, and their life would have meaning through their creations, while the administrative person is inclined to find meaning through administration. To each his own.

So start today. What gives you the most enjoyment? Thats the starting point of where you life's meaning will be found. At the end of that trail...

Meaning of Life?

What is the meaning of Life?

For so many, life consists of going to work 5 days per week, getting that pay check, paying the bills and looking forward to retirement. Thats mundane at least, boring at best at best, but, and this is an enormous 'but', if you don't know any better, then thats perfect for you.

Imagine the exciting life the earthworm has, but he/she never complains. Now it could be that the earthworm does not complain because it can"t speak, or a more simple explanation is that the earthworm is unaware of any other possible life. Occam's Razor suggests that the earthworm does not have a clue as to what it is missing, and so the meaning of life for the earthworm is doing what it's designed to do.

You on the other hand are reading this blog, comprehending the implications of this and suddenly you realize that your life should have more purpose, more meaning than what it has at present. (For all you earthworms out there, just go back to Facebook and post something.)

If you are still with me, then lets explore some options to change your present situation. I suggest that life's meaning is found in your purpose. Once you are actively fulfilling your purpose on this earth, life, your very existance has meaning, depth and fulfillment. Fulfillment is inherent in purpose. Key to a fulfilling life is to find your personal purpose and then fulfill that.

Are you ready for your personal adventure?
